FNEAC 2017

The First Nations Economic Advancement Conference brought together business industry leaders who want to do economic development with First Nations with First Nation decision makers. FNEAC was also created to share valuable information relevant to economic development on First Nations across Ontario and Canada.  FNEAC 2017 was a great success, and plans are underway for FNEAC 2018.

EDUCATION & COMMUNICATIONS

With our mission always in mind, we work tirelessly to improve the quality and quantity of available educational content that is relevant and useful for our Economic Development Officers on First Nations across Ontario.

Our website is being heavily utilized to bring our members a toolkit, interactive forum and monthly newsletters to provide relevant information on market research, upcoming events and networking opportunities. In addition, we post and share information through our social media channels.

A report released in November 2016 by the National Aboriginal Economic Development Board indicated that if certain barriers limiting First Nations participation were removed, Canada's GDP would receive a boost of $27.67 billion dollars.
